Teaching & Learning Strategies: This module will be taught in 2 hour practical per week. The practical class will comprise of demonstration and instruction in the performing and administration of strapping techniques and foot postural assesment. The primary focus however will be on developing students’ practical skills in the application and postural assessment
Module Aim: To provide the student with the practical and knowledge in the competent application of strapping techniques to joints and soft tissue injuries. To provide the student with the basic principles in foot postural assessment.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to:
LO1 Demonstrate a clear knowledge and the appropriate competent application of strapping techniques to various joint and soft tissues injuries.
LO2 Demonstrate the scientific knowledge and application in foot postural assessment.
LO3 Recognise the most common foot pathomechanical dysfunctions
