Module Aim:
The aim of this module is to enable learners to appreciate the role of outdoor and afterschool education in children’s learning and to link it to practice.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to:

Analyse the role of outdoor and afterschool education for children.
LO2
Discuss the role of national policy in supporting play and outdoor learning
LO3
Plan and evaluate a series of activities that might be provided for children attending an outdoor or afterschool setting
LO4
Critically analyse the practice of Forest Schooling.
LO5
Examine the role of reflective practise for practitioners.
