The learning outcomes detailed above will be achieved through the following:-
• Lectures – outlining of knowledge and ideas to student
• Independent Learning – students directed to relevant reading materials (conventional and e-learning) with a view to embedding and enhancing outline knowledge and developing independent research skills
• Class Discussion/Debate – students to engage in class discussions to develop communication and analytical skills
• Project Work/Problem Solving – students to work together to solve various legal scenarios.
Module Aim:
The aim of this module is to give students an introduction to the Irish Legal System, explore aspects of Contract and Company law and apply the knowledge acquired to solving relevant legal problems.
