This module provides the student with an understanding of modern Construction Site Management methods, and of the systems and procedures that are used to control construction projects.

(1) Operations Management
Sequencing, work breakdown structure analysis, duration calculation, subcontractor programme management (tender, short-term progress, and forensic claims).
(2) Subcontractor Management
Contract documents production, subcontractor tendering procedures, post tender documentation production and control.
(3) Cost Control Systems
Cost planning and value engineering principles, programme related cashflow, budgeting, cost value recording techniques.
