Module Aim:
The aim of this module is for the learner to explore more advanced pedagogical knowledge, skills and principles underpinning effective coaching pedagogy and practice which will enhance their own coaching practice.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to:

Examine advanced pedagogical coaching practice where high quality learning outcomes are achieved within a coaching and
pedagogy context, across a range of activities.

Use pedagogical concepts and models in order to optimise learning experiences for all learners involved.

apply critical thinking to evaluate observed practice in reflection of pedagogical theories.

Designing a programme of coaching practice
illustrating suitable progression. Theoretical and practical exploration of a pedagogical model.
Key Skills:
Manage participants in small groups and communicate in group discussion and evaluation; demonstrate an ability to observe and evaluate; develop an understanding of how to construct a reasoned discussion; apply critical thinking to evaluate observed practice in reflection of various pedagogical theories.
