Teaching & Learning Strategies: All topics will be delivered by means of interactive lectures. Students will also undertake research activities to gain an understanding of current practices in the industry.
Module Aim: To provide the student with a knowledge of cutting edge uses of IT technologies and the implications for IT managers. To enable the student to assess the possibilities for the future of I.T. and the likely impact on individuals and organisations.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to:
LO1 Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of ongoing developments in information technology
LO2 Assess the likely impact of these developments on individuals and organisations
LO3 Identify and evaluate implications for business strategy and IS/IT strategies that emerging information technologies present.
