Module Aim: To provide guidance on research methods and the research process. This will be achieved by developing the learner's understanding of the research process and by developing specific skills necessary to carry out research.

(2) Research contemporary construction built environment issues.
Analyse, synthesise and carry out a critical investigation on key issues affecting the built environment.
(3) Introduction to research methodologies.
Theoretical frameworks, outline of research methodologies
(4) Report Writing
Effective use of information sources (library, literature search), Time Management and Planning, Synthesis of information from articles, Report Writing and Presentations, Plagiarism, Referencing
