Teaching & Learning Strategies: Learners who choose this elective will be expected to take modules (30 ECTS credits) in the area of Computing and modules should be equivalent to at least NFQ level 7. Upon completion of the semester abroad, learners will be required to present certified evidence from the host institution that verifies the completion of modules indicated on the student learning agreement.
Module Aim: To enable learners gain an international academic and cultural experience.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to:
LO1 Demonstrate competency in the modules undertaken as laid down in the student learning agreement. The learning outcomes of this module include the aggregated learning outcomes of the modules taken while studying abroad.
LO2 Describe the cultural and academic differences of the host country.
LO3 Network and develop friendships that will support their academic and personal development.
