The learning outcomes detailed above will be achieved through the following:
• Lectures – outlining of knowledge and ideas to student.
• Independent Learning – students directed to relevant reading materials (conventional and e-learning) with a view to embedding and enhancing outline knowledge and developing independent research skills.
• Class Discussion/Debate – students to engage in class discussions to develop communication and analytical skills.
• Project Work/Problem Solving – students to work together to solve various legal scenarios.
Module Aim:
The aim of this module is to develop the students knowledge of the legal and regulatory aspects of business which they have gained at Stage 2 of the Programme including an introduction to legal principles of banking, insurance, data protection and consumer law in Ireland.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to:
