Module Aim: The aim of this module are to develop an understanding of theory of group processes, to enhance students' faciliation skills and to introduce them to the role of the creative arts as a medium for working with young people and community groups.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to:
LO1 Understand the role of facilitation in Youth and Community work
LO2 Explain theories of group development
LO3 Analyse approaches to resolving conflict in groups in youth and community setting
LO4 Plan and evaluate group sessions
LO5 Apply creative approaches to working with young people/communties
